Truckers lounge on 2nd floor. Old diner. Large walk-in coolers. Tons of crap lying around.

I don't know the exact date this truckstop was opened. My guess would be sometime in the early 60's when the Interstate was built. This place has changed owners multiple times over the years, I remember going there as a teenager to buy beer. The old man that work on weekends never carded us kids back then. Of course that was a long time ago, before the state really started cracking down on underage drinking. Rumor has it, that around 2001, an employee won the lottery and bought the place for herself. She hired her so called friends to help her run it. It took about 4 years for her to run out of money and shut the place down. Personally, I would have never thought a truckstop was a good investment. The place shuttered for good in June of 2005. I doubt this place will ever reopen, as it is very dated and a newer one opened across the highway a few years ago.
Location Update: Changed the location from Waco, Texas to Ross, Texas (which is the actual city it is located in.)

AS of late 2007, this truck stop has received a complete remodel and reopened. Not very exciting anymore...
