An old brick warehouse that is just DYING to be explored. Ok...maybe I'm dying to explore it as well. After seeing a security sticker on the front door (on the board, actually), I decided that there was a pretty good chance that Allied was alarmed. Thanks to lasthourstand, we have a confirmation that yes, this is indeed the case. *UPDATE* Recently (as of October 5, 2009) received contradictory information from somebody stating that they were able to explore this place without interruption from any alarms. If anyone can further confirm or deny this, please PM me! –vwtype3guy

The entire place looks interesting and tempting, at least from the outside!

Judging from the worn lettering/signage on the brick walls, this building served many uses in its day: -Syracuse Furniture Forwarding -Allied Van Lines -Storage -Easy Washer -Hotaling-Warner Macaroni Co.

Given how long this place has been for sale, it will most likely continue to decay, withstanding vandalism in the meantime. *Update February 11, 2019* The building has been completely gutted and renovated over the course of the past few years, and is now an upscale apartment complex. Glad to see that the developers were able to make use of it, again! I’m personally shocked; I always assumed it would be torn down someday after decades of neglect. However, I was wrong. While talking with one of the construction workers on site a few years ago, he informed me that building was still quite solid inside. I guess this just reinforces the statement, “they don’t make ‘em like they used to”!
