The north end was the Miner Complex, which was demolished in January 2006. Miner Industries was originally responsible for the production of rubber boots. To the south end, is the Carr-Fulflex building, which originaly housed a rubber textiles and tape production outfit. The Carr-Fulflex building was the only structure left.
