Local kids may have attempted to booby trap it as a large hole was chopped into the wood floor just inside the main entrance. It was large enough to ruin your day if you stepped in it. Quite honestly I never thought this would end up in the UEDB. Member Sam I aM added it but had no main pic, no history, well in his defense this place didn't have much history except it was somebody's abandoned or condemned home. It was here before the Bush Freeway (later to become the Bush Turnpike), It was here when this area was open to hunting and near a prime access point to fishing on Spring Creek. It was occupied the first time I saw it so it was not on my radar. Imagine my surprise when it showed up in the DB years later! Well that's about it, no grisly murders or kidnappings or Satan worship going on here that I was ever aware of. I remember the guy that lived here did have a nice bass boat at one time. That's about it. UPDATED 7/16/2006 BY 2X: The Bush House is gone, demolished, leveled and all traces of it removed.
