 Overview
 Description
Really weird place. Totally colonized by the homeless. The homeless that live here have been kicked out of the other camps and the shelters. They are violent and beligerant. Lots of drug activity and vandalism inside. Not a place for the weak spirited.

     History
This is one of the few really abandoned buildings around the Cape. It has been abandoned since 1994 and has been the site of tragedy after tragedy. Several fires have been set by people attempting suicide and malicious vandals. The most recent fire was a two alarm blaze and really did a number on the building, in addition to injuring a homeless man and 4 firefighters. For the town of Hyannis, this was the last straw, public outcry called for the factory's demolition. However, the discovery of asbestos in the building has put a halt on the demolition plans until the town can aquire all the necessary permits and despose of the asbestos properly.
