This building is rich with interesting photo ops, and has its original 1940's appearance. However, vandals have splattered ink on the walls and set fire to the ballroom floor. I'd like to set fire to their ass with my Bic, but that's beside the point. Check it out, but please don't tear it up. It needs to be respected as a place of historical value.

The Alexander Inn, also known as The Guest House was built in the 1940's to house guests in Oak Ridge for the Manhatten Project. Many noted scientists stayed there, as well as noted historical figures such as Albert Einstein and Enrico Fermi.
