     History
    One time rail tunnel, now somewhat filled in for the major road that travels parallel to the high level railway. The amount of junk left behind on the grounds make it look like a scrapyard, looking at a historical image from 1969, I see lots of scrap.
    The old rail line that travelled in the tunnel I believe was part of the Lanarkshire and Dunbarton Railway of 1896.
