     Interesting Features
The C building housed MSOE's W9HHX amateur radio station, had a large auditorium area with a suspended ceiling and partitions for use as offices, and included a pool in the basement.

At the time of demolition it still contained two large IBM computers, ancient computer equipment including an old hard drive the size of a 3U server, a large open safe, and storage rooms full of old files and textbooks.

Roof access was blocked by mounds of pigeon droppings.

Before abandonment, MSOE students, faculty, and administration signed walls of the South stairway, some leaving clever comments like "Thank God for the CC building... but where will the mice go?".

     History
The short version is the building was built in 1912 by the German English Academy for use as a high school. Some time later an addition connected it to the other GEA building which still stands. Milwaukee School of Engineering occupied the building for some time but abandoned it when a steam pipe broke, moisture condensed in the walls, then froze, causing structural damage. The former site became a parking lot, and in 2019 became the new MSOE Dwight and Dian Diercks Computational Science Hall.

     Future Plans
The former site of the building is now a parking lot.

2019 - The MSOE Dwight and Dian Diercks Computational Science Hall replaced the parking lot.
