Few things were removed when it was closed down. Paperwork everywhere. Many laboratories with lab equipment. As of sometime this year an idiot, possible a crackhead got into the place and stripped the building of most of it's copper wiring and pipes. Unfortunately this person(s) left a lot of broken asbestos everywhere! Do not enter this building without protection and dirty clothing you don't want to use again

Well, it's coming down. Only parts of it remain, and the DEC has a full-time guard and a brand new fence here now. It sounds like there are a LOT more chemicals at the site than the DEC thought, and they're being very careful about the decontamination and containment.
