    Beautiful wooden decorations, balconies and terraces, nice architecture, view across the river to Laos.

    The guards don't mind you roaming around the property's ground floor. A full tour might be behind just a couple of friendly words.

    According to the Finnish travel guide of Thailand, a joint project of four countries abandoned because of conflicts with political objectives and depression of Thailand's economy.

    Until The Golden Triangle (where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos cross) becomes a major tourist attraction the complex will remain closed/abandoned.
