A mostly intact (all the buildings are standing) motel in the process of being demolished. The rooms are in various states of being torn down: some are nearly the same as when it closed, while others are missing walls. No vandalism (probably due to construction workers) and very few windows have been smashed.
EDIT: As of 7 JAN 2005, this location has been demolished.

This is a nasty motel with to many problems worth mentioning them all. However I will say the lock on the door was broken and nailed back in places where it had been broken into before! A light outside ( I suppose for security reasons) cuts on an off all night BRIGHT LIGHT! the problem with that the curtains are THIN and my chidren worried themselves sick thinking someone was walking past the window all night because of the light changes. The biggest problem was the roach I had to kill!!!!!!!!!! Oh so nasty. We couldn't bring our vacation clothes back into the house for fear of bringing home roaches!!!!!!!GROSS And the petty problem you have to PAY FOR ICE!!!! And if you do decide to stay in this roach motel DON'T TAKE A BATH!!!! Believe me your cleaner before you get into that nasty bathroom. Paint is a thing this place hasn't seen for years and years and years. The walls are thin and we were in a room next to lovers trying to lalalalala through the moans so our children wouldn't ask what that was!!! And theres more but I'm in the process of trying to forget this awful trip and plan for N.C. next year instead. Having traveling and be glad you read reviews BEFORE you go on vacation :0) Lady Dj
