One of the bunkers is in use by some HAM amateurs. They have camera's to observe the area. And they call the Military Police.

The name Vineta was first used for a training ship during the first World War.
During WWII 4 15cm guns where placed near Hoek van Holland. Plans where made to place the guns in bunkers during the winter of 1942 but due to various reasons this didn't happen.
During the summer of 1944 the guns where placed in bunkers cause of the upcoming threat of air raids.
The bunkers are connected by a system of (covered) trenches. These trenches connect the gun bunkers with the other bunkers.
