Abandoned hospital building w/ a basement.
Community Of Smithtown Hospital has been abandoned since the early 90's. Above the first floor have been gutted.

The entire first floor hasnt had much removed. Most of the things were piled into rooms, beds, tables, chairs, equiptment. The 2nd and 3rd floor's have been entirley gutted. But there is still access to the roof on the 3rd floor. Which is EXTREMELY unsafe it's caving in due to flooding & old age. There is one hall way where they appeared to be knocking down walls and there were lights in this hallway as you can see in the pics. Also... the 2nd floor turns into ground floor somehwere near the back of the building...where the lobby is. Still has chairs and such. Graffitied, friends that I know used to squat there years ago. So in some parts things like release the beast, 666, cptm. They did that. They didn't know its historic significance at the time.

This hospital has gone by many names I cant even remember all of them. Some of them are Smithtown General, Suffolk General, Community Hospital of Western Suffolk. They have been doing some kind of work there for over a year, I dont see much changing or know what their plans are. I started to research it but didn’t find much info and I don’t really have the time. If someone wants to add to this please do so.

There is usualy a crane out front. They appear to be tearing it down/sort of. I'm not sure what to make of it.
