This is an old concrete dam, plus a treatment plant built in the late 1800's, early 1900's, that supplied water to the city.
All that's left are the setteling tanks, pump house, guage shack, and part of the foundation of the caretaker's cottage. The pump motors were hauled off by scrappers long ago, as were some of the pumps. The restrooms are gone, knocked down by vandals.
The dam its self is leaking in several places, and the base is dangerously under-mined.
