Once your inside, its very easy to get lost. There are stairwells all over ther place leading all over the building, after awhile, its hard to remember where you've been or even what floor your on. On the roof, there are amazing night and day views of the city, as well as several Turtl tags. Statler's revolutionary chain of hotels offering private baths with every room, among other innovations. The Statler chain was bought by Hilton in 1954 and in 1958 the hotel was renamed the Statler Hilton. It the 1970s it was renamed again to the Detroit Hilton and finally the Detroit Heritage Hotel. It closed in October 1975.
