This house was built in stages, as most menonite homes in this area are. As the family grew, more additions were added on to the home to house the growing number of people. This could include the sons and daughters of the original owners, their husbands or wives, and their children. The main house looks to have been built in the 1920's, while the additions to the house were most likely added on much, much later after a menonite family purchased the property.
