There was recently a story in the Spectator about a man who came back to see this place one last time after living here when he was a kid in the early 70's.
He was five years old at the time and his 16 year old babysitter, who also lived in this building, shot him in the face in a third floor apartment. The babysitter was acquitted after being charged.
