    A very long tunnel going across almost all the buildings, strange feeling of the place, all the interesting room are locked.

    The Douglas Memorial building and theather is a nice example of architecture.

     History
    Built in 1888 as a psychiatric hospital, buildings were added throughout the years on the wide terrain lot. The hospital layout is a mix of Kirkbride Plan layout and cottage style asylum with more than 20 pavillon, most of them linked together by a tunnel.
     Media Coverage
    not very much.
     Future Plans
    will keep going as a specialized psychiatric hospital for a long time.
