Playland Park was an amusement park formerly located at 2222 North Alamo in San Antonio, Texas. Playland Park opened in 1943 and was owned by Jimmy Johnson. Prior to this it operated as a small venue at Brackenridge Park ca. 1942. It was the original home of The Rocket, a popular wooden roller coaster.

SAWS bought this location along with the old buttercrust bakery across the street to use as a new headquarters. They abandoned plans for it and ended up buying the old valero energy hq to use instead. At this point i believe it is up for sale.
4.26.2021 - The property is now home to a mixed use facility that includes Alamo Community Colleges District Headquarters and a UPS Store.
