 Overview
 Description
The two undamaged buildings are largely intact with little damage. Virtually no vandalism, and while the rooms are partially gutted, a lot of components remain. Lots of burnt out rubble in the middle of the property due to the fire.

UPDATE -- As of summer 2004, the hotel has been demolished, leaving only the Seven Oaks Hotel sign by the street.

     History
Judging from the architecture and general structure, it looks to have been built in the 50's or early 60's. A pretty nice place in its own time, Seven Oaks had two pools, tennis courts, a volleyball court, well-equipped rooms, and even a small casino. The latest date I could find with reference to it being in operation is 1999. In early March 2004, a three alarm fire burned down a building in the middle of the property, leaving the two remaining main buildings, a maintainence building and snack bar intact. Host of the 1999 National UFO Conference!

     Future Plans
According to news reports, the unnamed owner has made no plans for redevelopment, resale or even demolition of the buildings. Neighbors have filed several complaints about vagrants and youth frequenting the site, and the city Code Compliance director is hinting that something will change soon.
