From the third floor interior, it appears that the building once had a sky-light of some sort as well.

This architectural gem was built circa 1890 possibly as a hotel for the nearby Allandale train station (see UE DB). The Allandale YMCA moved to this location in 1907.
At one point in time, this building was a 'gentlemen's club' of some ill repute with ladies of easy leisure entertaining.
The Crazy Fox Restaurant & Bistro was a popular Five-Star joint in the 80's and 90's. The Crazy Fox never used the third floor for dinning or other purposes. The restaurant moved to it's new location in 2000 and building has since been abandonned.
No-one knows what dangers or treasures lie within the Tower.

The building is now home to an active restaurant, Beaches Fine Market & Grille.

This baby sold for $750,000 in 2004-5 to Mr. Porter who is renovating for unknown future use. Mr. Porter from the Toronto area has taken a keen interest in purchasing and restoring buildings with heritage interest.
