  • There may be asbestos in the boiler room, but that is unconfirmed.

    Large empty spaces, nothing especially noteworthy about interior of location. The roof is interesting, and a large water tower is on the property. From the top of it, you can see many miles on a clear night.

  • Most doors nailed shut. One part of the facility is used to store supplies for humanitarian efforts in foreign countries. Avoid this area during the afternoon - early evening.

     History
    The site manufactured furniture for Stanley Furniture Corp for over 30 years until it closed in Janurary 2002. It was the lifeblood of the small rural town it was based in.
     Media Coverage

     Future Plans
    The aformentioned humanitarian storage area will be there for the foreseeable future. As stated before, it's best to keep away from this area during the day and early evening. I've personally have nearly been caught in this part.

    Another part, on the other end of the facility, may very well be converted into a workplace for workers making shirts and such in the future.
