A giant, warehouse type building. Four "bays" each, more than a few hundred yards long. Concrete floors, however there is a flooded tunnel system full of rusty pipes underneath. Gantry cranes still exist in each bay, and there are catwalks. They appear to be in good shape, thick, pressure treated wooden planks on steel supports. The roof has caving in areas, but it looks like most of the building in structurally sound. Most of the large doors have been boarded up, but there are many doorways that lead inside.

Gantry cranes, rows and rows of wrecked cars, and a pool, maybe 20 feet but 20 feet full of 2-3 feet of dirty motor oil, and water underneith. Also very large, very weird, wooden molds and ceramic ovens for when they casted plastic.

Originally the Armorcast plant, it produced Sherman Tanks and aircraft during World War II. It was later acquired by a cement company. On October of 2002(?) the plant closed. a plastic molding company took it over. After a short spell, it was finally being rented out as a salvage yard. In the past few months. When we had discovered this place, Art had not paid his rent, and the realtors were welding the gate shut. They said it was alright to explore, however the last trip, we discovered activity that the scrap yard owner has returned. As of september 08, most of the junked cars had been removed. Word is that they are only 1 permit away from demolition.

The salvage yard is gone. The wings have been demoed and clean-up has been underway since fall of 2010.
