À partir du 9 Décembre et pour 6 mois durant, ce sera le démantèlement final de la fameuse Geo W. Reed, alias Babcock & Wilcox, alias TA factory.

Cela semble presque invraisemblable, mais c'est bien ce qu'on apprend sur ce communiqué officiel.

Pour plusieurs, ce lieu culte restera gravé dans nos mémoires. Malgré sa simplicité et son état très vandalisé, c'était toujours très agréable que d'aller se promener la-bas.. Toujours ben tranquille, idéal pour se prendre une petite bière après-malting en ces soirées estivales...

Ahh que de souvernirs!

Personnellement, ce fut l'endroit de ma première exploration en 2007 avant même que je sache que ce que je faisais s'appelait de l'exploration urbaine et qu'une communauté d'adeptes existait à Montréal!
La Geo m'aura non seulement initié au monde de l'urbex, permis de rencontrer une tonne de personnes formidables et d'apprécier des oeuvres vraiment superbes (avouons le), mais c'est aussi l'élément déclencheur de ma vie qui m'as poussé à devenir passionné de photographie et de finalement me diriger vers une carrière de photographie professionnelle d'architecture.
