|  | | | I went to check out some bunkers at the old Mather field AFB. Turns out this site was where they kept nukes back when it was a SAC base. There are over 40 storage bunkers within a mile or so, but these bunkers were watched very closely, back in the day. But the point of all this is what happened when I was there....
My mutt and I are inside the first building, less then 50 yards from the front gate and public road. The picture is taken sitting on the locked county gate...the kind made of metal pipes that look like 2 "V"s on there side and meet in the middle...."]><["..got it?
So I hear a loud motorcycle approach and an "HA" type biker stop at said gate...."cool", I think. "it's not "the man".
BUT....I watch as he unlocks the county gate and rides in, like he owns the place!?!? I'm thinking, "WTF?"
I did bother trying to hide from him....I mean, he really looked like an "outlaw biker" type.
He road straight up to me and said I was in a restricted area and to LEAVE RIGHT F'ing NOW! No problem, I say. walking back to my ride, I find either SAC Sheriff or Ranger waiting by my car. He was cool...just repeated whatthe biker said. I asked him if the Hells Angles were helping him with security...he said they rent the property and that he keeps expecting to find a meth lab, but has no idea why they rent the area.
Wierd, eh?

Sure, there's nothing weird about an outlaw motorcycle gang having access to an old ATOMIC WEAPON STORAGE SITE. Nothing weird at all!
