OK, before you take this short journey...
1. These pictures were taken with a potato. These were taken with an old school sony mavica fd200 whose film was etched onto floppy disks. (advantage: takes about 3 seconds to upload!)
2. Enjoy looking at seeing different places

Nit Wit Ridge:
Arthur Harold Beal, alias Capt Nit Wit or Der Tinkerpaw, has a well know reputation for being a bit odd. But owning a house with a view like this ain't bad.
Often called the Poor Man's Hearst Castle, like William Randolph this residence is the end product of an obsession. Where WR Hearst may have been spending the family fortune, Arthur was trying to build the cheapest castle he could.
Starting in 1928 and continuing for 51 years, he collected junk, trash, and recycled goods to use in his castle. A favorite material seems to be old Busch beer cans, which were always in supply. Be he also used washer drums, car rims, shells, tile, car parts, and old stove and about anything else people wanted to throw out.
The property is now owned and being maintained by Michael and Stacey O'Malley. Michael gives an awesome tour of the property and all you have to do is call to make an appointment. The tours are free and everyone really enjoys themselves.

These pictures were taken in 2007. I don't know if it's still open...or whatever.

i am the other yourself.

"Have you been half asleep and have you heard voices? I've heard them calling my name. Is this the sweet sound that called the young sailors. The voice might be one and the same. I've heard it too many times to ignore it. It's something that I'm supposed to be." http://www.flickr....orers/collections/
