I always wanted to go out there. This weekend I talked Nick into a combo trip to Panoche Hills for some camping, shooting and 4 wheeling and a side trip here...

The guy who lives there was around, so we did a drive-by of all the mining stuff and then went in the houses on the north end of town.

We stayed out of the fenced area to the south. The dude was hovering and would have swooped immediately. Now that I know the layout I wouldnt've have driven through, but would have parked where I was on the way in and walked around a bit.

I wouldn't want to live there. :shudder:

You like? Lots of work. Wagon springs, narrowed full floater rear, e-lockers in both axles, 3" wider, 6" taller, 4" longer wheelbase, 12" travel f&r, 80:1 low gear, original paint... This was earlier in the day at Panoche Hills.
