We were utterly amazed that there were still parts of the Warehouse burning from the fire that broke out last week. In the midst of destruction there still lies great beauty.

I explore with a dear friend of mine and wherever she and I go, we always encounter someone who has something to say that just makes us shake our head... today we were asked if we were taking pictures because we were "architect students"...

and not to worry, the copy machine appeared to have collapsed under the stressful weight of being burdened by everyone's confidential information and being forbidden from knowing everyone's "secrets"... that and being confined to such an incredibly small room within the re-employment building.

I really didn't notice any beefed up security either the weekend of the fire or this past weekend. There was one VPD parked near the site when we walked up yesterday and there were several different people taking pictures of the warehouse location but the officer left rather quickly. I don't think they can afford to patrol the area. - Granted it was weekend warrior Army Reserve activities all this past weekend but I just don't think the resources are there. -That can be good and bad depending on how you look at it.
