| | Newly abandoned movie theater in Korea < on 2/6/2012 9:20 AM >
| | | I found this building while exploring my city in South Korea. The day I took these photos the first floor was still open to the public as they tried to sell the last of the clothes this store had once sold. This building was 12 stories, included a bookstore, a mall like cafeteria, multiple floored movie theater and a penthouse apartment for some lucky person. I didn't get any pictures of the movie theater, since it was so dark in there. But here are my pictures from the roof and the cafeteria floors.

| | | Any idea what they're doing with it? It doesn't quite seem old enough to be torn down already.

| | | There is no sign yet. The movie theater part has been unused for well over 3 years now, from what others tell me. There is another large movie theater just a block away that is still open and another closed down movie theater between them. So its one of 3 movie theaters in about a 3~4 block area. Quite strange.
