|  | | | I just came across this today, apparently the Army used my photos and write-up in a 2007 presentation on Nike missile site issues, including trespassing and security. I thought it was pretty funny to see my half-assed photos in an official army document, but it's a perfect example of UE websites being watched by the authorities, and contributing towards higher security at locations. I have heard that this particular Nike site now has additional cameras and patrols, perhaps directly related to my website?

I should send them a bill for using my photos!
This is partly why I don't update my website much anymore, there are just too many issues with photos and info going public. I guess these days I'd rather see most locations keep a low public profile than show off my photos all over the 'net. If I do, I tend to give them generic names and locations, like "a mine in the Midwest". Hopefully that also helps keep the tagger and scrapper traffic down.
