| | | | I'm not sure exactly what justifies an official convention/meet & greet but i think that is what most of us thought this was before, during & after. there were well over 20 people (too many for Denny's to handle!), we took over an in & out, we explored. most of the car "convention" badges I have clicked are titled meet & greet, some are called meet ups (UP) & others conventions (CON). not all of them but a lot of the north american ones are often meet & greet. it seems they are synonyms. this gathering was large, was issued an UER event in your area message, RSVP & all.
this was many of our's first event with you crazy people. yay!

Good luck finding a UER multi-day convention on the west coast. Whether we get our car badge or not it would be nice to have the meet and greet show up in our profile as an event we attended in good faith, you know like all other meet and greets people attend. This event seems to have never been recognized by UER for some reason or another.

| | | | Iv clicked on many peoples car badges and it shows a list of things you have attended (meet n greets being among them) this event was a big one like everyone is saying we had over 20 people so I don't see why it shouldn't qualify us for a car badge

The difference being for the convention you get the "car" icon. Has anyone on this thread gotten the car icon and not attended a "convention" B&C can you chime in on this question?
Anyway here is the requirement for a true "convention" submission as per UER.
-Convention Name
-Description
-Date
-32x32px event icon
-(Optional) 750x200px banner
-Security question (must be something everyone at the meet would know, but isn't easy for anyone else to guess)
-Security Answer
Thus, I don't think the meet and greet would be considered a convention and as such no car icon, though I may be wrong. As I said before, we should nonetheless still be recognized in some way for attending this event.

OK well I sent him the link the MOD sent me, so maybe...just maybe he will follow up on this and we can get a bit of cred for the meet-up. If worse comes to worse we can just harass the lazy fucker everyday until he comes through on this.
