Posted by CaptainStormyWhenever possible, we stop by the Taco Bell on Franklin & Hiawatha afterwards. We generally keep our rubber boots/wader, headlamps, ect on. It's always pretty dirty in there already.
|
You two must go exploring together, then?
My only tradition is, depending on the place, firing up a cigar afterwards.

This seems to be a tradition a lot of people have. That and white supremest slogans.

I also do this yet I still have to go again when I am exploring. It happens on approximately 70% of my explores. It must be a psychological thing. I do suffer from IBS, but I know that is not the cause. IBS is a totally different animal. I will say that it is pretty comical. Trying to be stealthy while hovering over an abandoned toilet is...well...interesting to say the least.
Yes, I do try to carry tp and/or baby wipes with me.

| | | Only real tradition that me and my buddy have is to ALWAYS, no matter what the weather or even if we failed horribly, to always, every got-damned time get McChickens after an Urbex. We may be sweaty, dirty, smell like coal and rust, but we always get McChickens. My record is 6. I effing love McChickens.

I hope to fix that soon, sir! edit: When I do my urban/rural exploring, I always pick up a pebble or rock from outside of the building and bring it home. I have an old ashtray that has a bunch of rocks. I don't take things from the site, but I figure a pebble is pretty harmless. Then again, I do that for every state I visit, too-- or any place I visit that is noteworthy. I also wear the same ragged out adidas shell toes because they're pretty resistant to bites, stubbed toes, and the occasional scraped foot/leg.
