| | | before the new year is over, i had always wanted to post my trip photos out to the polaroid house in socal (an art project that existed shortly back in mid 2008 to early 2009), but never got around to it. anyhow i apologize for the expired story, and so here it is. yes, this was back in march of 2009. better late, than never.
the kitchen sink was filled with broken cameras, empty film cartridges and empty boxes.
the way that the project worked, was that anyone visiting would leave a polaroid. if you took one, then you would leave one in it's place. people would also leave broken and working cameras..which of course ended up being taken rather quickly.
polaroids lay on the floor and not just on the collage posted.
the only holga shot that i was okay with- the project itself ended after the owner of the lot, and home got tired of too many people visiting the place. the polaroids were boxed by my friend kim (who also started the project) and is now in her possession. for more photos on the house go http://www.flickr.com/groups/765279@N25/
