-Someone new to this community found it cool/interesting/funny.

You should look through some of the forums on this site in regards to ethics and exploring.

I won't hate yoooooou.

But I will not share information with you as far as locations, entry points and security issues.

And when or if you apply for FM I'll be sure to raise the issue of your cool/interesting/funny/artistic whatever. Looking back through your posts here on UER it seems that you may have already run across this argument before so this really is just wasted breath.

And for the record, I like graffiti. Fuck dude, you should see my Flickr avatar. But what sucks is, I'll never be able to take a picture of that room without your spray paint on the wall. I'll never be able to create my own artwork from this location without your cool/interesting/funny whatever.

I'd be happy to talk about this more in PMs or a phone call, or face to face at a meet and greet.

I understand the ethics and views on graffiti that most Urban Explorers have, I've been exploring long before I found this forum. I've shared pictures, entry info, location info and friendly advice and help with several people on the forum.

I'm sorry if anyone is miffed about my comment, let me rephrase it, "Hey I've been to that site before! Awesome place, and I've seen that same rabbit and also several other things you took pics of! Let me know next time you go out, the gf and I would love to join you."

Once again, I never said that I'm the one who painted it. In fact since this is such a hot-button issue let me explain; my GF and I went to this site looking for some good rapelling locations (the other buildings/baracks at Ord aren't very tall) and while we were there we ran into other people painting at that location.

Graffiti is a part of Urban Decay. The locations on this board certainly don't belong to anyone here, so get off the backs of people who admire graff. If someone tags up your house/car/property than yes I'd agree with you in saying that person is a jerk, and I hope they get punished or have to clean it up. Do I like street art? Yep, you betcha. Do I think that all locations should be covered in gang tags and vandalism? No. Do I find it interesting that a place we call The Impossible City has a small tag on it that says "Not So Impossible City!" Yeah, I do. I also noticed it's on the inside of ONE of the many buildings (which on the outside are plastered with shitty paintings of pot leaves and the messages "smoke weed" and "LSD" with drawings of mushrooms that look like they were done by an 8th grader.) and so I don't take too much offense to it.

So yeah, you're definitely doing your part to protect the UrbEx community by not sharing locations with someone who was present while a seemingly small amount of spraypaint was being applied to the walls. I must be a bad guy, I'm gonna come smash all the windows and break all the chairs in every beautiful spot that I see right? Wrong.

By the way, we'll be back at The Imp. City tomorrow 11/24 (assuming it's not shitting rain) around noon I believe doing some rappelling. Anyone interested in learning how to rap or coming to watch should contact me on here or preferably at my email: talkpeace@hotmail.com . We've got enough harnesses for a few other people, and that will fit most people. If you've got your own gear, bring it along!

(That is, if you don't mind being in the company of someone who likes graffiti.)
