| | | In my travels around the Atlanta area I happened on this old church. After driving by it for years I decided it was time for some further investigation. I had to jump fences, brave aggressive ferrel dogs, briers and boards with dangerous rusty disease laced nails but the struggle was worth it. The stained glass windows are absolutely beautiful. Many of the windows are dedicated to people who were active or donated time and money to the church (big local names). It was very difficult to photograph here as nothing was level, square, or at right angels (old buildings are like that). I was inspired to reasearch the history of this location and found it went back well over 150 years. The reverend named in one of the windows was very active in the civil rights movement back in the early 1940s. I wish I could post more specific history because there is so much to it, but this place should not be named. Please if you know it keep it to your self, thanks. 1

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store. |
