|  | | | Just had to come back in here and give a shout to my ATL Urbex Peeps after watching "The Walking Dead" on AMC last night. Damn, looks like I left Atlanta just in time!
Seriously, though, how many of y'all watched it and said "Hey, that street looks like that normally!" when they showed the old NFS and Atlanta Constitution buildings as the 'post-apocalyptic' Atlanta. I have to admit, I had a good laugh.

I thought it was awesome haha. And when abandonments came up, I had the impulse to update the UE DB with the reference to "The Walking Dead". I didn't though. Waiting to see abandonment usage in future episodes.

Ditto. The whole vampire (wassup with girls and vampires?) and werewolves (just don't go out on full-moon nights. duh.), has become boring.
...Now zombies... they've evolved. Usta be you could kick, shoot, bludgeon, a whole crowd of zombies because they walked like zombies..no sweat. These wretched, spiteful, hungry, 30mph running zombies are a whole diff. story. One second that guy is chasing his wife (she's in a car and he's keeping up with it), next second he veers left for easier prey and nails some other guy. Scary.

Last episode was awesome. I was so excited I was flailing and squealing (I even had to tell a friend who was on web cam with me if i flail dont worry, im not having a seizure, just watching a zombie show).
And drains, abandoned mall, and rooftop!! And fast cars baiting zombies! Full of so many things I love.
Can i marry this show? Is that legal?

Do not fret. That car appeared to be a LeMans or a Tempest... that was badged/done up as a GTO Judge. Start at 34 seconds and notice the car they flipped was what appears to be a Tempest... they are not going to restore and flip a GTO... the GTO magically morphs into some lesser Pontiac crap box ;)

I knew most all the places they were. The 'freedom parkway' exit off 75/85 was the most fake thing they did thus far. That was supposed to be 85 south/north? He came in on the horse and left in the Challenger/Van... they should have done a lot better job with that. The builds on the left were the same just done up. Fake cars blocking the road... and some sort of railroad on the right side?
I didn't recognize them using any actually abandoned buildings that I have been in. Did anyone notice any that were for sure abandoned?

I am a rabid classic Pontiac fan.... You can tell when it goes over that it's not the same car, but I thought it was an odd choice of cars in any case. The 71 Judge is a pretty rare car.

It would seem, while the show is awesome and very interesting, there is even more to it all in the comic. I'm excited. We ended up nerding out about the whole thing for a while. Hells yes.

I have HD DVR... I watch it off the DVR or ONDemand. I just don't recognize the place where they were holding the asian character hostage... I want to go there.
