Last weekend while scouting the eastbay hills we stumbled across this lil gem. A small ghost town hidden near an unnamed park. It's got everything you want in a ghost town.

A bank, safe is long gone.

Barber shop, still had its lil pole.

Jail very much intact.

Hotel, a lil small but was once a life saver after a long ride. A feller could get himself a a bottle of whisky, a fine cigar, a warm bath and a decent woman for a 1/2 dime. Best deal around.

The Assay office. Not much left.

General store, shelves were bare.

What's this? Some wild stallions tied to this trusty coach?

We shall tame these beasts and make them our own.

YeeHaw! To the liquor store!

Bonnie do'n a lil stunt riding. She is a expert, DON'T try this at home.

The question is not when are we gonna stop, It's who's gonna stop us?

That's so awesome. Obviously the park service has it in a state of arrested decay. With a few renovations. But never the less awesome. I think I'm going to switch to Wells Fargo just because of stuff like this. Cheers! Happy hunting and hope to see u guys at the end of the month.

Ha! I remember going to the western kiddie town at a park called Howarth in Santa Rosa when I was wee lad, loved throwing my friends off the roof there. Sadly they replaced it with a Dino discovery center. The hiking/biking trails there are epic though, and some of the old quarries have graffiti over a hundred years old.Yay for state parks!

You two always seem to find something fun to explore..I'd love to take the grandkids there.

You can see a million miles tonite, but you can't get very far.
