Neverland Ranch

Has anyone thought about hitting this place up now, now that the media attention has kind of died down? I've read a couple places that members of his family now provide security, and the animals on the ranch are being taken care of by state officials, other than that, the place should be empty.

Address: 5225 Figueroa Mountain Road, Los Olivos CA

What do you think?
Anyone tried?
Anyone want to meet up?

Looking at the satellite view it looks like there is PLENTY of space to come in from somewhere around the sides if you don't mind walking through plenty of weeds. Coming in around the back side (The road that comes in from the north) looks interesting, there are a bunch of cool looking things before you even hit the ranch...)

It's actually on the DB Full member only though, so you wouldn't see it.

But yes, it has been done.

Well, last I heard is a bunch of goons from the "Nation of Islam" were handling Michael Jackson's security. I'd assume the jokers are still somewhat a fixture on the site. And, due to the huge amount of curiosity toward Michael and all the stuff there, I'd assume security to be very high compared with other civilian sites. This site would definitely not be abandoned and left to rot. Assume it is 100% active, do lots of homework and plan accordingly.

Honesty may be the best policy, but it's important to remember that apparently, by elimination, dishonesty is the second-best policy. -George Carlin (1937 - 2008)

Everything is gone, the house is empty, the rides have been sold.

There is another tantalizing abandoned mansion down there... I'm not going to say much else here.

Also, the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department patrols the area frequently, and the CHP has a station less than 20 minutes away, at normal drive time. The property is alarmed, and the Sheriff's Department does respond quickly to alarm calls at that location. I would advise against going there.

Saturday, Donny, is Shabbos, the Jewish day of rest. That means that I don't work, I don't get in a car, I don't fucking ride in a car, I don't pick up the phone, I don't turn on the oven, and I sure as shit don't fucking roll!

That is probably true. The rides are removed. Many of them are making rounds this summer across the country to county and state fairs. I saw one of the actual Neverland ranch rides at the Idaho State Fair.

I don't buy this. It wasn't alarmed when all the riders were there, not to mention millions of $$ of his personal belongings...why would it be alarmed now?

But, alas, as others have said...there's not much to see now anyway.
