Big boy toys.........

We're in the end stages of a 3 mile under ground power cable upgrade, these guys roll up with some incredibly fun looking toys. The trucks all looked brand new.

They were doing a couple of 1000' section pulls. Just thought I'd post up, since it's kinda cool to see this stuff in action...

If I was really created in God’s image then when God was a boy he wanted to grow up to be a man, a good man, and when God was a man, a good man, he started telling the truth in order to get honest responses.

damn, I need a job like that.

I've been an electrician for ten years and just recently got laid-off.

Too many people and not enough work.

Well good luck, and keep your eyes open. Hopefully things will pickup.

That equipment they were using was brand new. That means money is starting to free up a little.

as a matter of fact, yes.

Just took a motorcycle trip thru the Malibu foothills, along mulholland highway for about 70 miles, then back home along PCH for about 70 more miles. 5 hours on a sport bike can be tough on the ass.

Not my car, just had to shoot it!

Google the Rock Store Malibu, that was one of our stops.

I'm distracted too. That car is sick!

I miss my bike... 2001 Honda Shadow ACE, but it had oil pump going out and I had to rebuild the motor. Still not working right and I'm out of money to work on it.

Funny that I named this thread Big Boy toys, I wasn't thinkin' of posting our own. But let's do it, Lets see some of our toys.

Vector, I've been working on some of my projects for many years. It's funny how when big boy toys need money dumped into them, something more important always comes up. Hang on to the bike if you can, you'll be able to get back to it at a later date.

Here is a few gravity powered karts. Big boy toys for sure, they had some money tied up in these little things. Found them along one of the steep and twisty sections of the Mulholland highway. The workmanship on some of these was very nice.

I'm considering trading in for a new Shadow Phantom since the large quantity of side projects I currently am working on will bring in enough that I could put out the money in cash. This mild summer has been killing me, staring at my poor bike in the garage and not being able to go for a ride.

Love the metalwork on #4. Killer exposed welds.
