Nolan House, Bostwick Ga

Came across this old plantation home out in the country last week. Its wide open with no doors to keep people out. Every time I have been since there has always been another photographer there. So while it is a little out of the way its really not a big secret to people. Just thought I would share!

The house is awesome and so are your photos. Hate to see an old home like that just sitting there! It would be nice if someone fixed it up!

Being as wide open as it is and "not a big secret", there seems to surprisingly be a lack of graffiti etc...
How bad is it inside?
Looks like a really beautiful setting.
#2 is lovely

Its so far out in the "country" that no one really has came out to it other than to just take pictures of it. There are a few broken windows and some names carved in the plaster walls but thats it. I guess its just to far for vandals to drive out to just to mess it up!

I love this place. There is an amazing photographer in GA who shoots this place and others like it all the time. Hopefully no one vandalizes it now.... uer tends to ruin locations

Thanks,
So, it's one of the rarities that just happens to be in a great location, far enough out to keep away the vermin. Nice.............for now that is.
By the way, any other pics to share possibly?

This house reminds me of the movie Fletch Lives.

I'm near Athens, ga. Not sure where Bostwick is. Any ideas for exploring around the Athens area? north GA would be cool, too. Toccoa's abandoned casket factory NEEDS exploring.

Post by Jeeter: "... Toccoa's abandoned casket factory NEEDS exploring".

Toccoa Casket and the building next to it, the old American Heritage Furniture needs to be looked at for exploration ( Though I might be remembering the name wrong, moved out of Tocccoa a while ago).

Give a shout for us GA peeps
