| | | Well I haven't posted in a good time now, due to the fact that my good digital camera died during a non UE event. all I have right now is a 35mm SLR and a 120mm point and shoot camera which are good cameras, but I miss the convince of my Fuji film. Sheavy and i decided to take a day trip to a location in north Alabama, which we did not explore that day because we wanted to bring a few more people with us. the reason behind this trip was just to scout out the location for parking and a POE. On the way back we stoped at 2 locations that were both pretty cool. The first location was a old service station, and the other I am not sure what it was. The second location could be any thing from a flee market, to a carnival setup. All the shots were taken with my 120mm point and shoot. the film had some light exposer, but its not that bad. These pictures are of the service station, non of the inside shots turned out and most of the inside was burnt from a fire and was only burnt wonderland. 1.

| | | I like shot #4, the "pepsi" one...with the drive-thru. Could you tell what fast food/restaurant it used to be? Or was it just one of those "mom and pop" kind of places?

| | | It was a places called wimps. I believe that its a mom and pop joint because this random dude pulled over while i was taking these pictures and seemed really curious as to why I was doing so. so we talked for about 10mins and he told me the guy who owns it lived across the street and he also told me he owned a abandoned super club which closed in the 80's.

| | | What is the place you're scouting? It looks like old factory chimneys without the factory. But I do love the 'Knife Club' sign, so cool.

Its now being turned into a industrial park but it once was a big place in Gadsden, a lot of it has been destroyed but there are a good number of building left, but there is also a good amount of activity on the sight.

| | | Man, this is absolutely gorgeous. If I had the money, I'd shoot more urbex sites with medium-format--I think all the leaks and vignetting just reflects the character of the place itself. These are beautiful--I have to applaud you. c:
