Visited this one a while back with Yaz.

Spent a good three hours up there just chilling before being joined by our man nckt.

The Palace Hotel in Manchester is a Grade 2* Listed building that was built between 1891 and 1895.

The iconic clocktower was added in 1912, and a further extension built in 1932.

Originally built for the Refuge Assurance company, the red brick and terracotta is adorned with the old company's name. Refuge Assurance left the building in 1987 to a new headquarters in Wilmslow roughly 12 miles south of the city centre.

In 1996 the Refuge Assurance Company merged with United Friendly to create United Assurance Group. It was in this year that their city centre property was converted into a hotel.
