| | | Just curious of others experiences of doing UE in foreign countries. I've got some local friends who while interested, are not very good at finding locations, so I guess google maps and wandering are my friends at this point. Anyone got some tips, pointers or suggestions. Heck if you know any UE's the Rhineland Pfalz region of Germany that would help too.

| | | Try and understand your local government. Here, for instance, every closed school, hospital, government building, police station etc etc has to have a Scottish Office Statement made notifying the public of the intent to close the place. They helpfully publish these to the web every month and I've found over 25 location just by keeping a wee eye on the statements. Your local / national government might do something similar? Also, there's always the odd historical website that can help too, like this: http://www.buildin...uk/BAR/search.aspx More or less a complete, searchable database of locations there! Good luck! Chris...
We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit. |

| | | Do what turbozutek suggested (which was a good idea, I'll look for the same thing in my country) and also just keep your eyes open wherever you are. I work as a carpenter, and during lunch once I saw a boarded up building by some old abandoned docks, which I am planning to check out. You never know when or where you'll come across something interesting.
