One of Canberra's most spooky drains

1- Junction. The middle pipe usually has water flowing out of a side pipe a little way down it. Nothing today. The pipe on the right leads to a road gutter grille

2- Looking downstream. We could here bats at this point down these pipes.

3- A gutter grille room. Pretty peaceful in there near the road.

4- Looking down into the chamber. That pipe on the right leads to a road gutter grille(see pic 3). It was the only safe point in this drain. We didnt make it to the end of the chamber though, way to many crazy bats.

5- Looking deep into the bat-ridden chamber.

6- For any of you who like saxon.

The Batcave is a lovely drain, even though it gives me the creeps. Me and Shezza enjoyed the trip and will go again.

We discovered a culvert last night that we named The Batcave.

"THEY'RE IN MY HAIR".

Hello, I used to sing for the awesome heavy metal band Nitro. These days I do UrbEx!
