It's in the database under los angeles forest but has little info. Half the reason for the trip is too add photos. You'll get more info by just doing any random search for it. Warning: it really is a bitch of a hike and the water is going to be FREEZING.

So did anyone ever go? The water wasn't too bad mid March. How was the trip?

It's actually the "Horseshoe" and "Horseshoe Annex". The second can be pretty tricky to find... hell they both can.
