| | | I'll be visiting Ireland this summer and was wondering if anyone out there had any suggestions as to some places I can explore in Dublin mainly, or even anywhere else in the country.
Thanks in advance.

I too will be there in the summertime! What time are you going?
[15:00:33] <SeeThirty> cause you're not likely to be anywhere that other people haven't been who didn't have protection [15:00:41] <SeeThirty> still better safe than lexi |

| | | Hi there..thanks for your reply.
Well, basically, anything you can tell me about the urban exploration scene there, any places of interest you may be personally aware of...anything of that nature.

| | | Theres not a huge urban exploration scene around here tbh. My brother got me into it but Ireland lacks the same scope of sanitoriums, hospitals and institutions the UK & USA have. That being said there are one or two good spots. This site will really help you: http://www.abandonedireland.com/ Although not everything is listed there. About 3mins away from Leeson street in the city center I've been scouting out an abandoned nursing home/eye, ear and throat hospital. As of yet to find a way in...the street is always pretty much buzzing seeing as its in the city center. Dun Laoghaire baths in dublin are defo worth a look...Loftus hall (Now an abandoned hotel but was orignially a grand mansion) in on the hook peninsula in Wexford if your're willing to make the 2 hour drive from dublin its well worth the trip. And if youre even more willing to make the 3 hour train ride to Cork take a look at De La Salle College (Large abandoned boarding school) its not a bad explore...nothing mind blowing but not bad. I'd suggest going in daylight though, the place is pitch black at night and with ridiculous amounts of indapendant corridors it does make for easy navigation...but thats the fun part I guess ;) Any questions feel free to ask!
