| | | Is it legal to pop a manhole cover in Japan and check things out? Or do you get arrested for draining there?

| | | I saw some pictures of this place back in the late 90's, and that was one of the things that piqued my interest in underground spaces. Definitely a marvel.

| | | Yeah, that's G-Cans. Almost all the draining pictures you'd find of Japan are from there, and it is open to public tours. Man, Japan is so clean, even the drains are spotless.

| | | Ah... memories. Shibuya River, G-Cans, those were the days... One of us here was the location scout for the Land Rover commercial. Though the lower caverns are not open to the public any more (you get a unique look here on the UEBD), the main walkways and cathedral access is still available (at least on the upper level) during typhoon off-season. See ya! Neko.

| | | Posted by macgruder These things are pretty jaw dropping. Not my pics of course, but I happened across a link online. http://www.urlesqu...5/japanese-sewers/ Seems like something the drainers here would love. I'd love to get into these.
