Old Station

This is my first *official* exploration. I've done this sort of thing my whole life, but never with the intention of posting photos of my quest.

I'm new around here, but hope to contribute what I can.

This is an old station located in Southern California, that was built in the 1920s. I had a modeling shoot scheduled, and researched online hoping to find an abandoned location to shoot at. I found this, and it worked out far better than I could have imagined. Hope you all enjoy it.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting! Do you know any more about the location? By "station" are you referring to train station? It looks as though both freight and passengers passed through. Keep exploring and posting!

Thanks theshadowman.

Yeah, it's an old train station. I believe it's been shut down since the early 70s, but you could tell vagrants have been in there. There were clothes, trash, and I even found some latex gloves, and what appeared to be a medically-sealed plastic for sterilized medical equipment. Unfortunately, there was also a large amount of tagging on the interior walls.

It was a great location for my photo shoot regardless, and I was very happy we were able to get in.

There is an even better location nearby, but it is more securely sealed off. I hope to do that one sometime in the next few months.

Gloves are often worn by taggers. To keep the paint off their finger. Or they may be left from a paramedic response of the stations last murder victim. Welcome to forum.

The question is not when are we gonna stop, It's who's gonna stop us?

Thanks b&c.

I have some really good locations up near the Sierra foothills where I grew up, but I am still searching for good ones down here in SoCal (I'll only be down here for 4-5 more months).

I have an amazing location, but it seems very well secured, and has an element of danger to it that I'm not sure everyone would welcome (then again, maybe all the people here would!). If anyone has interest and is in the LA/OC area, let me know and maybe we can work on it together.
