|  | | | Surrounded by a big sharp fence is Severalls. 60 miles outside of London, it served Essex, one of the most populous counties of England. Essex had 4 Mental Hospitals and Severalls was the largest.
It closed in 1997 and immediately had a spikey fence put round it. It didn't used to be difficult to navigate past, but more recently another fence has been erected
Administration has had a couple of arson attempts and is now secured by boarding all windows.
