I was thinkin' somebody was bored as they were torching the boxes open, but movie makes more sense....Love the roof in those old places.
I know there is more than one abandoned roof top mansion downtown, sure would be cool to shoot one of those!!!!

I did some scouting around downtown on Friday before it started REALLY raining. Got some good shots of the Theatre District and some surrounding buildings, unfortunately didn't get to do any exploring because the people I was with were wusses. Next time.

| | | | Thanks guys. Didn't get a real chance to do any lighting so this was a point and shoot. Glad you guys liked the location. There are motion detectors and a guard so probably not a good explore unless there's a film shoot there. Never-the-less downtown is filled with dozens of places like this. I will challenge anyone that says there is nothing in LA or that everything's been done. Telling you, one extension ladder and the downtown could be your UER oyester.
